We at First Federal Credit Union are proud of the high standards of quality and service that have been our hallmark through the years. We are also proud of the high standards of ethics and business conduct we have adhered since 1926.

With our growth, it becomes increasingly important to ensure we have communicated our mission, our business beliefs, and our commitments in a clear and straightforward manner.

It is comforting to know that First Federal Credit Union has always employed people who have done what is right when faced with a business decision, and in most cases this goes well beyond legal requirements. We have every confidence that we will continue to act in this commendable manner.

    The mission of First Federal Credit Union is to satisfy member financial needs by providing the best possible products and services with honesty and integrity.

      First Federal Credit Union strives to offer superior products and services. We believe that our past success has been a direct result of our commitment to member service; service which emphasizes quality and competitive products along with prompt and courteous service.

We select qualified employees and strive to create an atmosphere conducive to quality performance by sharing information, opportunities, and the rewards of a successful operation.     1. Growth Objectives
      Although our primary focus is on health, we expect our efforts to result in a asset growth that equals or exceeds the growth rate of our competition. This includes ALL financial institutions (Banks, S&L's and other Credit Unions).
    2. Financial Objectives:
      Our goal is to increase, or at minimum, maintain the financial strength of the credit union. Meeting this goal commits us to a healthy balance sheet, positive cash flow, earnings growth that equals or exceeds asset growth, and regular cash dividends/interest to members.
    3. Marketing Objective:
      Our goal is to serve the needs of our members with quality products and service. Our strategy is to distinguish ourselves in the marketplace by providing superior service with competitive interest rates in both saving and lending. We strive to maintain a reputation for integrity in our member-owned financial institution.

  • OUR BUSINESS CONDUCT
    Our overriding goal is integrity in our products and in our business conduct. Every First Federal Credit Union employee is expected to conduct business in a way that is socially responsible. No act of impropriety will advance the interest of First Federal Credit Union.

    • Our policy is to obey the law in letter and spirit.
    • We seek no special favors or considerations from suppliers, competitors regulators or government.
    • We avoid relationships or arrangements with competitors that would limit the vigor of competition in our markets.
    • We are straightforward and aboveboard in all of our relationships
    • We convey true claims for our products.
    • We endeavor to deliver quality products.
    • We encourage fair comparisons of our products and services.
    • We purchase on the basis of what is in our best interest by seeking maximum value for each dollar spent.
    • We seek long lasting relationships with all whose activities touch upon our own.
    • We comply with all generally accepted accounting rules and controls.
    • We make no corporate payments to government officials or candidates for public office.
    • We do not give gifts of other than nominal value or accept gifts of other than nominal value from those with whom we do business.
    • We seek to conserve the resources and protect the quality of the environment in our community.

  • MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT
    and to set a personal standard of performance, which may serve as a model to others. Employees should seek guidance on all questions of propriety before taking action, for no one can be allowed to abuse First Federal Credit Union's good name through Management has a special responsibility to communicate and enforce these beliefs illegal or unethical acts.
